Ringed Cornish granite cross on rough sloping square pedestal bearing inscription on front face, on square base. Unveiled December 1920 by General A King CB CMG DSO and Captain HC Wollaston, son of Mr FEA Wollaston JP of Shenton Hall, who gave the land for the memorial. General King is Mr Wollaston's brother in law. Dedicated by Canon Bowers of Market Bosworth. Squire and Mrs Wollaston helped to design, lay out and plant garden.
