Paper Roll of Honour with printed header and handwritten names. Signed by the Duke of Rutland. This roll of honour does not indicate which men fell, although it presumed to be only the two men named on the plaque in the same church (Ernest Knott and Colin Bramall). The first section of names appears more faded than the names that follow, suggesting these were the men who signed up earliest. After this, it is possible that subsequent enlisters were added in pencil, and later in ink. There is no obvious order to the names, and the odd few begin with the surname, rather than forenames.
