I think this entry should be Pilot Officer David Simpson not O Simpson.
His number was 193270, RAF (VR). Unit 22 Air School, SAAF.
He was the son of Beatrice and David Simpson and he was killed in South Africa and is buried in Thaba Tshwane (New) Military Cemetery, Gauteng, South Africa. He was 20 years old.
He was at Vereeniging Military Base and was flying a Hurricane and was killed whilst flying.
