Large celtic style rough hewn wheel Cornish Granite cross with sloping pediment bearing leaded inscription on three tiered base. Bronze wreath with inscription in interior associated with cross but only displayed around Remembrance Day. Unveiled Friday 7th January 1921 by Col RE Martin CMG; dedicated by Ven FB Macnutt, Archdeacon of Leicester. Base provided by Mountsorrel Granite Co. Further bronze wreath from ex-servicemen of villages was placed by ex-lieutenant J Blakemore and dedicated by Rector on Wake Sunday Morning (October 1921).
