Portland stone and Forest of Dean stone cross on tall round column bearing raised inscription towards top, surmounting square pedestal on two tiered base, with pedestal bearing WW1 metal plaques and top step bearing WW2 plaques. Whole on large raised stone area on corner of street. On site where the Jubilee Fountain stood previously (relocated to Ellis Recreation Ground). Unveiled Saturday 7th May 1921by Major Gen. HL Crocker CB CMG; dedicated by vicar Rev I Raine.
