Wooden structure originally set into the wall where North Street and Church Street met. Wooden structure framing roll of honour, which included 350 names, 32 of whom fell during the war. Replaced by the Industry Square memorial cross in May 1921. Historic postcards / photographs exist. Some names acquired from paper copy of a Roll of Honour list provided by KT (assumed same format as on memorial - see image file) but this was issued during the war so not clear who casualties were.
