Composite memorial on North wall of the church featuring life-sized sculpted figure of a Lancer, bending slightly in act of placing a sculpted wreath on the monument attached to the wall. This comprises a blue-grey marble plinth with plaque, and pink-brown marble plaque atop featuring bust carved in relief. Overall, this gives the impression of its being a two-dimensional obelisk on a base, and has three steps surrounding, on which the figure of the soldier stands. The whole is bound by black railings. Also laid on the white marble steps is a sculpted Zulu shield, and Lancer's helmet and gauntlet gloves.
