Clock and striker that were dedicated on May 14th 1950, originally as a World War Two memorial, but recently (at 2011) dedicated as a general memorial to conflicts affecting the village. The clock has a blue face with golden painted hands and numerals and states '2002' on face; perhaps this was when it was replaced? Not clear if there was ever a dedicatory plaque to accompany it.
