Clock with associated metal plaque bearing inscription in white on dark background. The plaque refers to Private Crisp, when it was in fact Lance-Corporal Crisp who was killed. Both men are named on the Roll of Honour for WW2 inside the church, which clearly shows that Private Crisp survived but Lance-Corporal Crisp was killed. This was first brought to our attention during 2009 by local WW2 veteran Arthur Groom, who asked Leicestershire County Council if a more permanent commemoration could be secured.
