He was the son of Mr Everett Jackson. He was employed in the Lime Works at Geeston and had joined the Territorials on the 28th October 1910. He embarked abroad on the 28th February 1915 and served in France and Belgium, he was killed whilst on sentry duty in the Ypres sector. The War Diary for today records. ZILLEBEKE. At 5.00pm Blew in portion of enemy’s mine gallery opposite A.1.
