George Loomes, head of the family and married 23 years, a Boot Maker and Dealer, born 1868 in Leicester and his wife Hannah, born 1864 in Coventry, Warwks., also Alfred, son, single and a Boot Shop Manager, born 1889 in Leicester, Wilfred, son, single and a Rubber Merchants Clerk, born 1891 in Leicester, Edith, daughter, single and a Boot Shop Assistant, born 1893 in Leicester, John, son, single and an Apprentice Engineer, born 1895, George, son, a Schoolboy, born 1898, Frances, daughter, a Schoolgirl, born 1900, Sydney, son, a Schoolboy, born 1903 and Bernard, son, a Schoolboy, born 1906, the latter five children were all born in Market Harborough, Leics.
