In April 1911 Cecil was a schoolboy and was residing in the family home at 9, Patrick Street, Market Harborough, Leics., together with his father a rubber mill worker, his mother and siblings, Clara, a sewing machinist, Harry, a rubber moulder, William, a stock room worker, Florence, a sewing machinist, Mary, Frank, a stock room worker, Samuel, a type foundry caster and Pres, born 1904 in Market Harborough, Leics. His elder brother Frank also lost his life.
