The War Diary for today records. “A” Company were relieved by a Company of the 1st YORKSHIRE REGT. and went into support at CANADA STREET. “B” Company took over POST I30/3 from “C” Company and handed over POST I30/1a to the 1st YORKSHIRE REGT. Posts now held as follows, “B” Company I30/1, 30/2 and 30/3 with 1 platoon in support at HEDGE STREET. “C” Company Posts J19/1, J19/2 and J19/3 with 1 platoon in support at TORR TOP. 1 other rank wounded in action.

Pte. W. Wallis (Ashby) of the Durham Light Infantry, is reported killed in action, and Pte. A. Smith (Swannington) of the Leicestershire Regiment, has died of wounds.
