Bryett. Some time subsequent to the commencement of the war deceased joined the forces and after training went to ---. He was invalided home later on, with “trench feet.” After a complete recovery he proceeded to his depot, and was sent out to ---, where he has been for a considerable time. News was received on Friday morning by his relatives that he was dead. Before joining he was employed on the railway, being engaged chiefly at the ironstone sidings. His wife died some few years ago, and the utmost sympathy is felt for his three young children, and other relatives. Deceased was about 36 years of age, and is numbered among those who at the call of duty nobly responded and has laid down his life for his King and Country.
