Loughborough Airmen Killed in Action

Victor Harvey, aged 19, of Albert Street, Loughborough, an airman, has been killed in action. An Air Ministry telegram to this effect has been received by his father, Mr Samuel Harvey, a bus body-builder at the Brush Works, on the day his son Victor was due to come home on leave.

Victor Harvey was employed in the offices of Messrs. Moss, Deane and Moss, solicitors, Loughborough, under 12 months ago, when he joined the R.A.F.

He was well-known as a local footballer, was educated at Loughborough Grammar School, and was a member of the Old Loughburians Association.
