He was the son of John Edward Bradwick a boiler driller and planer, born 1869 in Hathern, Leics., and his wife Eliza, born 1868 in Hathern, Leics., John Tom was born in 1895 in Loughborough, Leics., he had one sibling, a sister Dorothy Annie Agnes, born 1901 in Loughborough, Leics., in March 1901 the family home was at 28, Hartington Street, Loughborough, Leics. In April 1911 John was employed as a driller and was residing in the family home at 45, Burder Street, Loughborough, Leics., together with his parents and siblings, Dorothy and Harold Frederick, born 1903 in Loughborough, Leics.
