Loughborough Air Officer Is Missing

Pilot Officer Keith Bennett, of Loughborough, who was in the famous Kiel raid early in the war, has been officially posted as missing. News was received to that effect on Tuesday by his father, Mr J. Bennett, Sileby branch manager of the Westminster Bank, who lives at Quorn. Mr Bennett was formerly at the Loughborough branch of the bank and at that time living in the town. His son, Keith, who was about 20 years of age, joined the Air Force from Loughborough Grammar School about two years ago.
