Pilot Officer John Lewis Baines 88686 was killed on the 18/03/1941 aged 27 whilst serving with No 2 School Of Army Co-operation at RAF Andover Hampshire.

He was killed when Bristol Blenheim lV T2443 he was flying crashed at Penton Mewbey, Wiltshire after the crew lost control.
