William Gregory was the Son of John and Jessie Gregory, of Market Harborough, and husband of Doris Gregory.

The following In Memoriam notices appeared in the Market Harborough Advertiser on the 8th March 1946;

Gregory- In proud and loving memory of William (Gerald) Gregory, who died of wounds on 7th March 1945. Buried at Canadian Military Cemetery, Holland.- From George and Elsie

Gregory- Treasured memories of the dearest of Sons and Brothers. Bill, died of wounds March 7th 1945. Also our Billy, cousin of the above, killed during air operations over Germany, March 24th 1945.
