He was the son of William Ernest Corah, a foreign timber commercial traveller, born 1869 in Loughborough, Leics., and his wife Bella Ann Corah (nee Henry), born 1870 in Kegworth, Leics. James Henry was born in 1897 in Kegworth, Leics., in March 1901 the family home was at Dundsennan House, Kegworth, Leics. In April 1911 James was a schoolboy and was residing in the family home at Bridge Fields, Kegworth, Leics., together with his parents.
