He was the son of Mr and Mrs J. List. The War Diary entry for the 28th August 1917 records. DICKEBUSCH. “A” and “D” Companies worked as before. “B” and “C” Companies were ordered to work under the 8th Battalion CANADIAN RAILWAY TROOPS on grading on a special line south of POPERINGHE (Sheet 28 L.12.). 1 officer was admitted to the Field Ambulance sick.
