The War Diary for today records. TRENCHES. Between 9.00 and 11.00am the Battn relieved the 4th Battn LEICESTERSHIRE REGT in the trenches, the relief was quick and without incident. Dispositions were A Coy (PETCH) right, B Coy (BALL) centre, C Coy (-?-) left, D Coy (ALLEN) reserve. At 3.00pm Captain BROORS went on leave. Lt SHILTON was attached for 3 days to ROYAL FLYING CORPS and Lt MACLACHLAN, ROYAL FLYING CORPS attached to a similar period to the latter. LT MANDY returned from leave in ENGLAND.
