Source: Leicestershire War Memorials Project. "I am David W. Edgar’s great, great, great granddaughter and after looking through various past documents it has came to my attention that my grandad died aged 28. However another document says he passed at 29. I would also like to add how my grandad died, he passed after being shot in both legs, and grew ill with tuberculosis."
