' Great Bowden Man Killed '
'Pte Arthur Cotton, 32 year old son of Mrs Cotton and the late Mr G. Cotton, of Great Bowden, Market Harborough, has been killed on active service in India. Pte Cotton joined the Army in 1940 and was drafted overseas in 1942. He was previously employed by the Market Harborough Urban Council'.
