A death notice for Thomas Albert Lewis appeared in the Market Harborough Advertiser on the 4th August 1944:
'Lewis, Thomas Albert, died of wounds in Normandy, July. Second son of the late Police-Constable Lewis of Connaught Road, Market Harborough.
In ever, loving, remembrance from brothers Raymond and Henry, in Normandy. In ever loving remembrance from his Auntie, Uncle and Cousins, Stamford.'
