The War Diary records that the Battalion had relieved the Sherwood Foresters on the Forward Cottage Line on the 8th May, the report for 13th May stated that the there was heavy shelling on B 15 and B 16 at times. Relieved by the 9th Bn. Suffolk Regiment and entrained at 2.00am at usual place for Camp D, Wood A.30.
