He was the son of Robert and Jane Stocker. The War Diary for the 14th to the 20th September 1915 records. TRENCHES. Relieved by the 4th Battn LINCOLNSHIRE REGT. Complete 11.00pm. Casualties 11 killed, 34 wounded. Battn proceeded to Divisional Reserve in hutments about 1 mile west of DICKEBUSCH. Battn rested. Provided work parties on two days in neighbourhood of BEDFORD HOUSE.
