The War Diary for today records. During the night of the 18th/19th a very high wind got up and the camp being in a very dusty place, this made things very uncomfortable for everybody. A party of 100 men went to HANNAH position again on salvage work, the remainder of the Battn paraded for squad drill. Sir PERCY LAKE was expected to visit the camp during the day, but did not do so. A Guard of Honour under Lt H. STOCKLEY, was warned to hold themselves in readiness if such an event did occur. At night the Coy’s paraded under Coy officers for Musketry. The wind continued to make things very bad all day.
