In March 1901 George was residing in the family home at Dunton Bassett, Leics., together with his widowed mother, now a bread baker and his siblings, John, Ernest, born 1892 in Broughton Astley, Leics., and Horace J., born 1896 in Dunton Bassett, Leics. In April 1911 George was employed as a baker and was residing in the family home at Dunton Bassett, Leics., together with his widowed mother and siblings, John, Ernest, Horace and Alice Ann, born 1903 in Dunton Bassett, Leics.
