Thomas William was a railway wagon painter and was born in 1897 in Peterborough, Northants., his siblings were Maud Mary, born 1900 in Fletton, Hunts., Daisy Pegg Boyer, born 1903 in Cricklewood, Middx., and Agnes, born 1907 in Sandiacre, Notts., in April 1911 the family home was at 9, Gladstone Street, New Bilton, Rugby, Warwks. His parents later resided at 17, Rutland Grove, Sandiacre, Nottingham.
