Harry Oswald Hetterley is thought to have been from Castle Bromwich, West Midlands- his connection to Coalville is not known.

Harry was serving as part of an 8- strong crew of Halifax LW286, taking part in a bombing raid over Berlin. The aircraft crashed near Hindeloopen, Netherlands, killing all crew members. Three of the crew were buried nearby- the others, including Harry Hetterley, have no known grave.
