The War Diary for the 13th March 1916 records. CITE DE CALONNE. Lt. Col. R. W. MORGAN D.S.O. proceeded to AIRE for an Artillery course lasting 5 days. The command of the Battalion devolving on Major G. A. WILLIAMS. The Battalion was relieved by the 1st KING’S LIVERPOOL REGT. Relief commenced at --- and complete at ---. After relief the Battalion occupied the Support Area. Casualties this day – two men killed by rifle fire.
