Large square monumental arch crowned by low dome designed by Sir Edwin Lutyens. Tall and wide openings to W and E, smaller and lower ones to N and S. Smaller version of India Gate in Delhi. Completed in 1924. Does not bear names, but is associated with the Great War Book of Remembrance in the Cathedral, another copy of which is held in the University of Leicester library collections.
